Gabriel is currently Principal Nutrition Scientist in the Regulatory and scientific affairs team of Cereal Partners Worldwide, and the chair of the Whole Grain Initiative food policy working group. His focus is on breakfast nutritional guidelines, the promotion of whole grain consumption, and the integration of environmental sustainability in food policies. Gabriel has previously worked in academia, with the objective to identify indicators for healthy and sustainable dietary patterns, as well as in Nestlé Research where he was in charge of the scientific development of Nestlé reformulation standards.
