About him:

Jordyn Bunting is a Food Science & Technology Master’s student at Oregon State University working as part of the barley-breeding research group, OSU Barley World, to study food quality and functionality of naked-varieties of barley while being advised by cereal chemist & baker, Dr. Andrew Ross, and barley breeder, Dr. Pat Hayes. Jordyn received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development – Health Services from California State University San Marcos. After graduating, his career interests began to shift from healthcare towards food science since his hobbies largely revolve around food & cooking. It was during this time in San Diego County where he began cooking in restaurants to develop a culinary background prior to starting his graduate studies in food science at OSU.
